Emerging Artist-Friendly Relief Funds
As relief fund efforts gained momentum following the mass layoffs and cancelled gigs brought by COVID-19, many funds established eligibility criteria that require union membership, professional work experience of 5-10 years, and published work, all that disadvantage and disqualify young and emerging artists in the application process. We have compiled a list of active, emerging artist-friendly relief funds. Due to limited funding, EAI can’t fund all applicants, but the following relief funds (both national and local are included) are helpful resources for applicants needing emergency financial assistance.
